Acceptable Use Policy
Effective Date: June 20, 2026
1. Purpose and Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes prohibited uses of the SaaS applications, hosting services, and managed services provided by CSP Geeks LLC ("CSP Geeks LLC," "we," "us," or "our") under the brand Press Mage (collectively, the "Services"). This AUP applies to Customer and to anyone Customer permits to access the Services, including employees, contractors, and end users (collectively, "Users"). This AUP is incorporated into and forms part of the Press Mage Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms of Service.
Violation of this AUP is a material breach of the Terms of Service and may result in content removal, suspension, or termination of the Services, as described in Section 4 below.
2. Prohibited Content
You may not use the Services to store, host, transmit, publish, or distribute any content that:
- Is illegal under applicable law, or promotes or facilitates illegal activity;
- Infringes or misappropriates the intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights of any third party;
- Constitutes child sexual abuse material or otherwise sexualizes or exploits minors in any way;
- Is defamatory, fraudulent, or deceptive, including phishing pages, fake storefronts, or counterfeit goods listings;
- Contains malware, viruses, ransomware, spyware, or other malicious code;
- Promotes or incites violence, terrorism, or hatred against individuals or groups based on protected characteristics;
- Facilitates unauthorized gambling, pyramid schemes, or other deceptive financial schemes; or
- Violates the rules, regulations, or policies of any third-party payment processor, app store, or network used in connection with the Services.
3. Prohibited Conduct
3.1 System and Network Security
You may not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system, account, network, or data, whether belonging to us, another customer, or any third party;
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system or network, or breach security or authentication measures, without authorization;
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services or the data, accounts, or networks of other customers;
- Introduce or distribute viruses, worms, trojan horses, or other malicious code through the Services; or
- Use the Services to launch or participate in denial-of-service attacks or similar attacks against any third party.
3.2 Resource Use and Abuse
Hosting and SaaS resources (including compute, bandwidth, storage, and email sending capacity) are intended for legitimate business use consistent with your plan. You may not:
- Use shared hosting resources in a manner that we reasonably determine degrades performance for other customers (e.g., runaway processes, crypto-mining, or excessive automated scraping);
- Exceed the resource limits, fair-use thresholds, or usage tiers associated with your plan without upgrading to an appropriate plan;
- Use the Services to send unsolicited bulk email ('spam'), or to operate open mail relays or spam-distribution infrastructure; or
- Circumvent any resource limitations, metering, or access controls we have put in place.
3.3 Unauthorized Access and Reselling
You may not share account credentials to circumvent per-seat or per-account pricing, resell the Services to third parties without our prior written consent (except as expressly permitted under a reseller or white-label agreement with us), or use the Services to provide a competing hosting or SaaS platform to third parties.
4. Monitoring and Enforcement
4.1 No Obligation to Monitor. We are not obligated to monitor Customer Content or Users' use of the Services for AUP violations. However, we reserve the right to investigate suspected violations, whether identified by us, reported by a third party, or flagged through automated systems.
4.2 Investigation. If we receive a complaint or otherwise reasonably believe that Customer Content or activity on the Services violates this AUP, we may investigate, which may include reviewing relevant Customer Content, logs, and account activity to the extent necessary.
4.3 Enforcement Actions. Depending on the nature and severity of a violation, we may take any of the following actions, in our reasonable discretion:
- Request that Customer remove or remediate the offending content or activity within a specified time;
- Remove or disable access to specific Customer Content;
- Throttle, restrict, or suspend access to affected resources or features;
- Suspend the account in whole or in part; or
- Terminate the account, for severe, repeated, or uncured violations, or where immediate action is necessary to prevent harm to us, other customers, or third parties (e.g., active security threats, illegal content, or attacks on other systems).
4.4 Notice. Where practicable and not prohibited by law or risk to system security, we will attempt to notify Customer before or promptly after taking enforcement action and provide an opportunity to cure non-severe violations. For severe violations — including illegal content, active security threats, or attacks on third-party systems — we may act immediately without prior notice.
5. Copyright Complaints
We respond to properly submitted notices of alleged copyright infringement in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, as described in our Terms of Service. Repeat infringers are subject to account termination.
6. Reporting a Violation
If you become aware of content or activity on the Services that you believe violates this AUP, please report it to:
Email: abuse@pressmage.com
Please include the URL or account information, a description of the violation, and your contact information so we can follow up if needed.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this AUP from time to time to address new types of abuse, security threats, or legal requirements. Material changes will be posted with a new effective date. Continued use of the Services after an updated AUP takes effect constitutes acceptance.
