Epics

An epic is a story that groups other stories and tracks their progress.

  • Creating one. Use New Epic on a project's epics page or Add Story, and tick Mark as Epic.
  • Assigning stories. Choose the epic in a story's Epic field, or click Add Story on the epic's page, which pre-selects it.
  • The epic page shows a progress bar with done out of total, the description, the list of its stories with status, priority, assignee and due date, comments, a Progress Summary by status, details and dependencies. Edit opens the usual story form.
  • The board's epics strip and the global Epics page both show progress at a glance.
