Events

Events are actions your site reports beyond page views, for example a button click, a form submission or a download. Your site has to send them; the tracking code counts page views on its own and can be told about events by whoever builds your site.

The report shows:

• Total Events in the period and the number of Event Types.
• Event Distribution. Share of each event type.
• All Events. Every event type with its count.

If nothing appears, the site is not sending events yet.
