Email Integration

Email is how most tickets arrive and how replies go out. Three cards control it.

Receive Email Sources

Each source is a mailbox the Help Desk watches. Click Add Email Source and choose:

  • Microsoft 365. Click Connect Microsoft 365, sign in, then choose the mailbox from the list, or pick the custom option and enter a shared mailbox address.
  • IMAP (Receive Only). Enter the server, port (993 by default), email address and password, keep Use SSL/TLS encryption on, and click Test Connection.

Give the source a Source Name, pick a Panel colour (the band shown on every ticket from this mailbox, so you can tell mailboxes apart at a glance), leave Active on, and click Save Email Source.

Each source card shows its type, address, whether it is active, and how many emails it received today. Edit or delete it with the icons.

Outgoing Email Configuration

Click Configure Sending and choose a provider:

  • Microsoft 365. Connect an account and choose the From Email and From Name.
  • GVenta Sending. Enter your Domain Name, a From Email on that domain, a From Name and an optional Reply-To Address. After saving, the card lists DNS records to add at your domain registrar, each with a Copy button. Add them, then click Verify DNS Records. Until they verify, the card reads DNS Not Verified and replies cannot be sent.

Email Sync Worker Status

Shows, per source, whether it is active and whether its sync is running, with the last sync time and any errors. It refreshes itself every ten seconds and offers start, stop and restart controls.
