Dashboard
The dashboard is the first page after you sign in. The heading says how many websites you are monitoring.
No alert warning. If no enabled Site down notification rule exists, an amber banner says Nobody will be emailed if a site goes down, with an Add one link to create a rule.
Counters. Three tiles count your monitors that are Up, Degraded and Down. Monitors still under investigation, and new monitors that have not been checked yet, count as Up.
Active incidents. When anything is being investigated, is confirmed down or is being monitored for recovery, it is listed here with the monitor, group, state and when it started. Click one to open the incident.
Monitors. A card for each monitor, showing:
- Its name, a status badge and its address.
- Last check and SSL, the days left on its certificate.
- A coloured dot for each of its monitoring regions, with that region's latest response time. See Region dots in the Reference.
- The latest web image of the page, when Show images is ticked. This choice is remembered for you.
- Four action buttons: Take web image, Pause checks (or Start checks when paused), Edit monitor and Delete monitor.
Click anywhere else on a card to open the monitor's page.
Card order. Monitors that are down come first, tinted red, then those under investigation, tinted amber, then everything else with the most recently checked first. Paused monitors come last and appear faded.
Live updates. The cards refresh every 30 seconds without reloading the page, and move into their new order. A card never moves while you are moving your mouse over the grid or while a confirmation dialog is open, so you do not click the wrong one.
SSL warnings. Monitors whose certificate expires within 30 days are listed at the bottom with certificate expiring soon.
Empty dashboard. With no monitors yet, the dashboard links you to Create a group and then add a monitor.
