Add-ons

Add-ons extend a service: backups, CDN, caching, storage pods, Mage Stats, Mage SEO Helper, Mage Mailer resource pods, Mage Stats Site Pods and managed services.

Buying an add-on

  1. On the service page, click + Purchase Add-On. The page lists every add-on available for that service, with each tier's price. Add-ons bill on the service's existing monthly or annual cycle.
  2. Click Select on the tier you want. Tiers you already have read Owned or Current plan; stackable tiers such as storage and site pods offer Add another. Moving to a different tier of an add-on you already have goes through support: Upgrade or Downgrade — contact support opens a pre-filled ticket.
  3. On Confirm Add-On, check the price and billing and click Proceed to Payment. You are taken to Stripe's secure checkout.
  4. After payment you return to the service page, which shows Activating your add-on… until the add-on has landed, then refreshes itself. If it takes longer than usual, the page offers Refresh.

The add-on then appears in the Add-ons section with its status. Automated add-ons move from Awaiting Provisioning to Active on their own; managed services show Planned, Onboarding and Implemented as the team works through them.

Add-ons are cancelled from Billing.
