Writing emails and using Mage AI

The primary email

Primary Email takes the campaign name, the Message type, the Send From address, a Default Subject and the body.

Message types matter for compliance. Cold Outreach and Marketing / Promotional are held to suppression and consent checks; marketing additionally requires recipients to be Opted In or Customers. Transactional and Service / Account Notification are for messages the recipient needs; adding promotional content to one makes it marketing.

The Send From must be a verified address. Drip lists and chain follow-ups send from it automatically.

Chain emails

A chain email has a subject and body and sends automatically as written, with no per-contact review.

The editor

A rich-text editor with formatting, links, tables and images. Placeholders inserts merge tags such as {{First Name}}, {{Company}} and {{Job Title}}, replaced with the recipient's details at send time; blanks use the defaults set under Settings → Placeholders. Media opens the Media Manager to insert a hosted image, or drag an image straight into the editor. Preview renders the email as a recipient would see it.

Create with Mage AI

Available in both editors. Give a Page URL to promote (optional for follow-ups), a Brand profile, the Email type, and any instructions. Generate produces a subject and body to preview; Use This Email drops them into the form, where you can edit before saving. Follow-ups are written knowing what was already sent on their branch and which outcome triggered them.

The house style and the cold or promotional instructions the AI follows are set by an admin under AI Instructions.
