Campaigns
A campaign groups links so you can report on them as one: a product launch, a client's spring promotion, a newsletter series.
The campaigns list
Campaigns shows a card per campaign with its status, description, number of links, human clicks and total requests, plus View report and Edit. Search by name, filter by status and click Filter. Export CSV (for roles that can export) downloads every campaign with its status, link count and dates.
Creating a campaign
Click New campaign (Owner, Administrator and Manager) and fill in:
- Campaign name (required).
- Status. Draft, Active, Completed or Archived. New campaigns start as Draft.
- Starts and Ends (optional). The end must be after the start.
- Description (optional).
Then add links to it: choose the campaign in the Campaign field when you create or edit a link.
Campaign status
Draft and Active campaigns are offered when assigning links. Completed and Archived campaigns keep reporting on the links they already have but are not offered for new ones. A campaign's status never stops its links working.
Archive campaign at the bottom of the Edit page sets the status to Archived. The links keep working and the reporting history is kept; archiving never deletes anything. There is no way to delete a campaign.
The campaign report
View report shows the campaign's details (link count, start and end dates), a period selector and Export CSV, then:
- Human clicks, Estimated unique visitors, Automated requests and Total requests across every link in the campaign.
- Daily traffic.
- Link performance, ranking the campaign's links by human clicks.
- Source performance, Medium performance, Content performance (
utm_content), Devices, Referrers and Approximate location, counting human clicks only.
If no links are assigned yet, the report says so.
