Signing in and invitations

There is no sign-up page. People join a workspace by invitation from an Owner or Administrator.

Accepting an invitation

The invitation email links to a page headed Join followed by the workspace name, telling you which role you have been invited as and which email address the invitation is for.

• If you are new to Mage URL, enter Your name, Choose a password and Confirm password, then click Accept and create account. Your email address is taken from the invitation and is treated as verified, so you go straight to the dashboard. A welcome email follows.
• If you already have a Mage URL account with that address, click Accept invitation. The workspace is added to your account. You may be asked to sign in.

An invitation expires 14 days after it was sent, and the page shows the expiry date. If the link has expired, already been used or been withdrawn, you see This invitation link cannot be used; ask whoever invited you to send a new one. If the workspace itself is not currently active, the page says so instead.

If you are already signed in as someone else, the invitation is refused and you are asked to sign out and open the link again.

Signing in

Open your Mage URL address, enter your Email and Password and click Log in. Tick Remember me to stay signed in on that browser. Your Mage URL address is on your Mage URL service page in the Press Mage client portal, under Address, with an Open dashboard button. If you were invited by someone else, ask them for it, or use the link in your invitation email.

Forgot your password? asks for your email and sends a reset link. Passwords must be at least 8 characters.

The first Owner of a new workspace is set up by Press Mage when you order, using the email address of your Press Mage account, and that address is already verified. When the workspace is ready, Press Mage emails you a link to your service page in the client portal. The page shows your Mage URL address and, under Your sign-in, your email and a starting password (click the eye to show it, or copy it). Change the password under your profile once you have signed in. If no password is shown, use Forgot your password? on the sign-in page with that email address to set one.

Email verification

If your email address has not been verified, you are asked to click the link in the verification email before you can continue. Resend Verification Email sends another, and Log Out is on the same page.

Signing out

Sign out is next to your name at the bottom of the menu.
