Content Intelligence
Facts tell Mage AI what is true; Content Intelligence tells it how to write. Open Brand → Content Intelligence for an overview with the status of each part:
- Brand Instructions. Built from Brand Voice and AI Guidance.
- Visual Instructions. Colours, imagery and what to avoid in images.
- Content Pillars. What each kind of content should accomplish.
- Content Templates. Repeatable structures.
- Platform Guidance. The brand's additions per platform.
- Test Prompt. Try a generation and see what was used.
If the brand has no pillars or templates yet, Add default pillars and templates copies in five content pillars with instructions and six content templates for you to edit. Nothing you already have is changed.
Visual Instructions
Image work receives these automatically, along with the primary colours from the Brand Profile. Set Secondary colours, Imagery (Photography, Illustration, Photography and illustration, or 3D / rendered), Text on images (Never, Minimal text only when requested, or Text allowed where useful), and free-text guidance on visual style, logo usage, mascots, typography, composition, prohibited visual elements and anything else.
Content Templates
Templates set the shape of a piece, not what it says, for example "Problem → Why it matters → Insight → Solution → CTA". New Template asks for a Name, the Structure, an optional Description, Content type, Content pillar and Extra instructions. Don't put brand facts in a template; Mage AI fills it from your brand knowledge.
Platform Guidance
For each platform, the global instructions Mage Engage always applies are shown, with the platform's approximate maximum length. Add This brand's additions to steer posts for that platform. Your additions come after the global instructions; they cannot remove them or the accuracy rules.
Test Prompt
Choose a Content type, Platform, Content pillar, Template, Campaign, products and audiences, then describe the Task.
- Preview context (free) shows exactly which context and instructions would be sent, section by section, without calling Mage AI.
- Generate test runs it and shows the result. It uses AI Credits; the estimate is shown first. If it fails, no credits are charged.
