Sources
Brand → Sources is the brand's knowledge library: pages, documents and copy Mage AI can learn from beyond the profile fields. Only active sources marked AI may reference are used, and only the relevant ones are sent with each request.
Adding a source
Click New Source and give it a Name and Type: Website URL, Website page, Uploaded document, PDF, Marketing copy, Product documentation, Case study, Blog article, FAQ document or Plain text. Then point to the material in any one way:
- a Source URL,
- a File (PDF, Word, ODT, RTF, text, Markdown, HTML or CSV, up to 20 MB), or
- pasted Content.
After saving a URL or file source, open it again and click Read text from the URL (or from the uploaded file). The text appears in Content for you to review; it is only kept when you click Save.
Tick AI may reference this source to let Mage AI use it, and Approved for public claims if what it says may be stated publicly. Add Notes for your team.
The list shows each source's type, flags, link or file, word count and import date. Delete removes a source and any uploaded file.
