Signing in and adding your team

Setting up the account

When you buy Mage Engage through Press Mage, the account is created from your Press Mage portal. On the Mage Engage service card, enter the Owner name and Owner email (twice) and click Create the Mage Engage account. The email must not already have a Mage Engage login. The service card then shows the owner's Admin login (email and password) with copy buttons.

Signing in

  • From the Press Mage portal. Click Open Mage Engage on the service card. You are signed in straight away with a one-time link.
  • Directly. Go to the Mage Engage sign-in page, enter your Email and Password and click Log in. Tick Remember me to stay signed in on that browser. Forgot your password? emails a reset link.
  • Two-factor authentication. If you have turned it on, enter the code from your authenticator app, or click Use a recovery code.

If you change the owner's password inside Mage Engage, the Press Mage service card still shows the original one.

Adding people

The Owner, or an owner or admin of your Press Mage account, adds people from the Team Access panel on the Mage Engage service card in the Press Mage portal. Enter their Name and Email, choose a Role, and click Add to Mage Engage. Adding someone who is already on the account changes their role. Remove takes a person off the account. Add me to Mage Engage adds you as an Administrator.

A new person receives an email from Mage Engage, "You have been added to … on Mage Engage", with a Set your password link. The link expires; after that, they can use Forgot your password? on the sign-in page.

Team members are unlimited on every plan.

Suspended accounts

If the Press Mage service is suspended, signing in shows a page saying the account can't be used right now. Your posts and content are kept and nothing is published while the account is suspended. Check the service in your Press Mage portal, or contact the account owner.
