Refresh from website
Refresh from website lets Mage AI read the brand's website and draft its profile, voice, colours, logo, products and services, audiences, content pillars and facts. Nothing is saved until you choose what to keep, and what you have already filled in is never overwritten unless you tick it.
Starting a refresh
Open Brand → Refresh from website (or the button on the Brand Profile). Check the Website address, optionally tell Mage AI anything it should know (for example "Focus on our B2B services"), and click Read site & draft.
Mage AI searches that site only: its about, products, services, pricing and contact pages. One AI request drafts the brand. It uses AI Credits, including a small fee per web search, and the exact amount is shown afterwards. It usually takes about a minute, and you can leave the page and come back. Earlier builds lists previous runs.
Reviewing the draft
The review page shows everything next to what you have now:
- Profile fields, each with a tick box and an editable value. Fields you have already filled in start unticked, with your current value shown as Now:.
- Links, colours & logo. The public URLs the AI may link to, brand colours, and logo options, including Keep current.
- Voice selections and text, ticked only where you have nothing yet.
- Products & services, Audiences and Content pillars. Ones that already exist are marked and cannot be added twice.
- Facts & brand intelligence. These are saved as pending review; Mage AI only uses each one after you approve it.
Pages the AI read lists the pages it used. If the AI suggested page addresses that don't exist, they are left out and listed. If it could not read the site itself, you are warned that some details may come from other websites.
Click Apply selected to save what is ticked, or Discard to save nothing. If the draft did not finish, Try again.
